Our brand name SAMOONDOH means that you and I have the “same temperature.” It was launched with a unified idea by two designers (now husband & wife) with each very unique and different sense of style. These two highly admired and were influenced by works of Jean-Michel Basquiat — an artist who introduced street art into the art culture —. Hence, they took Basquiat’s pen name “Samo” to demonstrate that they are two different people but that they have the same temperature. The SAMOONDOH logo has an eye on its tail to represent that the each of the two views the world differently but it becomes one through compromise.
