Debuting in South Korea as Bangtan Sonyeondan (防弾少年団) on June 13, 2013, they made their Japanese debut about a year later in 2014. Since 2017, they have aimed for global expansion, adopting 'BTS' as their common name, and they are now recognized as one of the leading artists in the world.
